Dental Society values the opportunity to treat the children. We advise parents to introduce their child/children to professional dental care from the age of two.
This may include watching a parent have their teeth cleaned or having the child’s teeth cleaned counted and polished with a soft brush. It also allows us the opportunity to visually inspect the child’s gums and teeth for any obvious issues.
We use this time to answer any questions you or your child may have and assess their teeth’ overall growth and development. We’ll also educate both the parent and child on oral hygiene and brushing techniques.
